Journey, Experience & Teaching
After joining West Essex as a Junior member, I won all the junior competitions over a three-year period, and became captain in my last year at the club.
In 1982, I turned professional and became fully qualified in two years, after passing the playing tests and my PGA exams. My performance during the examinations led to an interview for an assistant professional role at Sunningdale.
My Playing Progress
I still play competitively, having scored a 65 on the Old course (5 under par) and 68 in the London course (2 under par) last Autumn at Hainault. I will also be attending various professional golf events this summer.
